Product Overview

Arise claims to offer a unique virtual technology and support platform that makes it easy for anyone to operate their own micro call center business straight from home. They claim you can make money from home, providing customer service services to businesses connected to their platform.

After a pretty lengthy registration process, you are required to complete certification courses.  The courses must be passed in order to begin servicing companies. The courses are meant to train you in how to use the servicing client’s systems that you will be using to service, as well as the requirements for the program. Course fees range from $100.00 -$350.00.

The Good and The Bad

The Good:

PRO #1     This is an opportunity to start a home based business. You can be a sole proprietor or you can employ workers.

PRO #2    The company is over twenty years old.  So, it’s been established for quite some time.

PRO #3     The website states they have clients that are Fortune 500 companies and large corporations such as Comcast.

The Bad:

CON #1   Ironically, the customer service for this business sucks!  There is no telephone number to call for assistance with their registration process.  It takes up to two weeks to get a response through email.  They offer a webinar once a week for you to receive customer service assistance. You must be available at that time or you cannot get any assistance from this company.  I sent an email asking if it’s this difficult getting support as one of their call centers.  Of course, I got crickets…

CON #2   Once you complete the registration process. You select the company you want to work for to provide customer service.  You are required to pass a certification course for that particular company. The course fee can range from $100-$350. The catch here is… even if you pass the course, there is no guarantee you will be hired by the company. Also, you are not guaranteed work.

ETC –    If you choose to work for one of the call centers in the network, you will be lucky to make $9.00 per hour.  This is because the call center has to make a profit as well and the service range for the clients is between $9 – $15 hour.  This means, if you choose to create a call center and work solo, you still won’t make much more than $15.00 per hour.

Who is Arise Virtual Solutions For?

Arise Virtual Solutions is for anyone who’s looking to make a little extra money and enjoys talking to people and providing customer service. It is also for someone who has the money to spend on start up cost and doesn’t mind the risk of not getting hired.

Arise Virtual Solutions Tools & Training

The certification course material vary by client.  Arise states the courses range from 28 days to 8 weeks in length.  Each session is normally 4 hours long and are instructor-led but there are also self-directed components to the course. There also may be homework requirements to complete prior to the next day’s class. There are videos and audio components used with the courses.

Arise Virtual Solutions Support

I attempted to register a call center with Arise and was very disappointed in the lack of customer service support to new registrants.  It would seem to me that this would be the most important part of their business; insuring new businesses and independent contractors were on boarded properly.  However, this is not the case. The registration process includes some testing to insure you can provide the service and also a background check that costs $7.95.  I had issues for weeks trying to register as an agent and this was after paying for the background check. Their system would not except my EIN Number even though I had a letter from the stating the number is legitimate.  Each time I attempted to receive assistance with this issue, I was told the same thing which never worked.

Arise Virtual Solutions Price

You can find a pretty detailed list of their prices and cost for doing business with them by clicking here.  If you are an agent working for a call center in the network.  The start up cost to you is considerably less.  However, good luck finding a call center to work for.  Once you begin the registration process, they tell you to go to their Facebook page to find companies to work for.  You must apply directly to those companies.

Additionally, Arise makes it clear, they are not affiliated with any of the companies signed up as call centers on their platform and to protect yourself from scams.

My Final Opinion of  Arise Virtual Solutions

I can’t say for sure if Arise Virtual Solutions is a scam or not.  The registration process and customer service failed me miserably, so I can’t really tell you if you can make money with this company or not.  I will say that it is hard for me to believe working for this company would be a very good experience.  If the customer service is bad for new registers, I can’t imagine it would be any better afterwards.  Proceed at your own risk.
